Does My Child Have an Eating Disorder?
February 10, 2010 10:00 - 11:30 am
Ridgeview Institute, Professional North
Building
Many times during childhood and adolescence, the question is
asked “Is my child’s behavior normal for this age or something to be concerned
about?” This is particularly true for eating patterns and body image concerns.
The presenter will review eating disorders including diagnostic criteria, typical
behaviors and potential warning signs of disordered eating. Do’s and don’ts for parents, family
involvement and treatment options will also be addressed.
