What should I bring/not bring to the hospital? Staff search all belongings to maintain unit safety. PLEASE bring only necessary personal belongings and hygiene articles. There are many items not allowed on the hospital units due to safety concerns, and in the interest of promoting a therapeutic environment. It is important that you send items not allowed on the unit home with a family member, friend, or lock it up in your vehicle. Ridgeview will not be responsible for lost or stolen articles.   We will need a list of all medications your are taking (including over-the-counter meds, vitamins, and herbal supplements). We ask that you bring in all of the meds you are taking and turn them in to the staff upon admission.
