NEWS
The
Ridgeview Adult Alumni Association recently reached out to
returning military troops who pass through the
Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport by collecting donations for
the on-site USO. Over $750 was collected to be used in providing
calling cards, bottled water, and other items to troops as they
deploy for military service or are returning home. This outreach
exemplifies the caring and service of our Alumni Associations
and their members.

Ridgeview Institute Day Hospital Expansion
Ridgeview
Institute recently completed expansion and renovation of our Day
Hospital, adding additional group rooms, consult rooms, and an
expanded auditorium for large lectures and 12-Step Meetings. The
Day Hospital is the home of Ridgeview’s partial hospitalization
and intensive outpatient treatment services for adults in the
addiction, psychiatric, and recovering professionals treatment
programs. The Day Hospital is also the site for our monthly
4-day Family Workshop, over 30 free community support groups
each week, and other events such as the Annual Candlelight
Vigil for Eating Disorders Awareness Week and the Annual Alumni
Weekend held each June. This expansion and renovation creates a
spacious and welcoming environment for the hundreds of
individuals and their families utilizing services at Ridgeview
each week. We are planning a Day Hospital Open House later this
year. Please look for an invitation in an upcoming edition of
“A View From the Ridge”.
